NLC Offers Additional AIR MILES reward miles to Encourage Metrobus Customers to ‘Ride Responsibly
St. John's, NL, June 1, 2012 – Beginning today, the Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) will partner with Metrobus Transit to reward AIR MILES collectors for riding responsibly on Friday and Saturday nights after 7pm. Through a new and unique partnership with the AIR MILES Rewards Program, riders in St. John's will be able to double the reward miles they earn every time they take the bus in Friday and Saturday nights on any route in the city - riders will earn 2 AIR MILES reward miles for every 2 taps of their m-card.
NLC Wins Employer of Distinction Award

NLC’s Manufacturing Operation Rock Spirits Signs Contract to Produce Golden Wedding Whisky
St. John’s, NL, December 6, 2011 – Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation’s (NLC) manufacturing division Rock Spirits announced today that it has entered into a two-year contract with Schenley Distilleries Inc. to bottle Golden Wedding Whisky at the NLC’s manufacturing facility in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. This is the third major contract secured by Rock Spirits within the last 19 months as Rock Spirits entered into contracts to produce Crystal Head Vodka and Lemon Hart Rum in May 2010.
NLC Presents Second Annual Whiskies of the World
St. John’s, NL, November 23, 2011 – Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) is pleased to present the second annual Whiskies of the World on November 25th at The Delta Hotel St. John’s from 7:00pm-10:00 pm.
This show will highlight over 110 products including: Canadian, American, Irish, and Scotch Whiskies. It will also provide suppliers with the opportunity to help educate consumers on the various forms and characteristics of this robust spirit, focusing on a smaller, intuitive clientele.
