The NLC, along with various suppliers and restaurants,
holds events for NLC customers to sample and discover the unique flavours
many alcoholic beverages have to offer.
Customers of our busiest retail store, Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s,
can be presented with pleasant aromas such as beef sautéing in whiskey,
chicken cooking in blueberry wine and rum glazed ribs when chefs take over
the in-store kitchen. And, through in-store tasting sessions, customers
of all NLC retail stores have opportunities throughout the year to sample
products both old and new to the market. What better way is there to discover
a new favorite beverage or find an alternative to a tried and true product!
And, the show-shopping event…Winefest. Every fall, NLC hosts an annual
festival of wine. Winefest is always a sold-out success with ticket demand
exceeding availability. So, don’t miss out, get your tickets early
