It's Ok to Protect Our Community

A shared initiative between NLC and Newfoundland Labrador Crime Stoppers, “It’s Ok to Protect our Community”, is an interactive campaign with the purpose of addressing contemporary high school issues threatening youth including bullying, violence, vandalism and alcohol and drugs. The appeal of the campaign was heightened with students of local St. Michael’s High School, Bell Island, depicting themselves in a series of candid photos addressing common social problems of their peers. A series of sixteen vivid images bring attention to social situations threatening high school youth while effectively relaying positive messages and advice.
