An important issue related to the sale
of alcohol is the sale/purchase of smuggled alcohol. Not only is this illegal
and a lost revenue to the province it is, more importantly, a health and
safety issue. These products could be harmful to those who consume them
as they may not be a recognized brand with quality assurances or they could
be labeled improperly as to content.
At the NLC, we work to ensure that only the safest of products are distributed
for sale. We therefore encourage everyone to only purchase alcoholic products
through legalized distributors.
